FRIDAY 5/8 Check on your AR points for Q4 using the AJHS library link . We have less than a month left to read. Make a plan for finishing your point goal by the end of Q4. TCI: Make sure all parts of Sections 2-4 are done . (Yes, even the Placard problems in Step 1.) Add to your Quizlet Set for SS Lesson 17 Add some questions and vocab based on the info you learned this week about Islam & Africa. Consider putting it in game mode & playing Match or Gravity. Play the Quizlet sets of other students in the class, too. It’s READING DAY! The LA Extra Credit assignment is due today if you’re doing it.

When you have completed the reading and all of the problems, click “Mark as Done” on Google Classroom SS. Read for 20 minutes or more today.

WEDNESDAY 5/6 Hi, Everyone! There is a new component to the Social Studies for today because I was able to find digital copies of the Placards. Check it out: TCI: Lesson 17: Section 3 --Start at Google Classroom & open the assignment. --Watch the video & open the PDF of the Placards. --Go to TCI, then assignments. Select Lesson 17, then Section 3. When you have completed the reading and all of the problems, click “Mark as Done” on Google Classroom SS. --Go back and complete the first part of "Step 1" in Section 2 from yesterday using our new digital placards. Spend about 20 minutes (or more) each day reading your AR book. We will have extra time on Fridays to focus on reading. Wondering what to read? Select Lesson 17, then Section 2. When you have completed the reading and all of the problems, click “Mark as Done” on Google Classroom SS. Correct your Neurologist Notebook #2 Based on the info in the Monday Morning Message, revise NN #2. You will need to UNSUBMIT, then RESUBMIT your assignment. (GC will tell you the assignment is late, but it isn’t if you revise it today.)

It’s READING DAY! *If you’re wanting to get a jump start on Monday’s work, you can begin building a Quizlet set for SS Lesson 17. (See the vocab words on p. 233 in your textbook for a good starting place.) Neurology Vocab Quick Quiz Go to Google Classroom (LA). Complete the quiz and press “Turn In”. We will play Quizlet Live today at 10 AM, right before taking the quiz.
