Reread your essay.

If you notice small errors, fix them using a pen & white-out.  If you notice large errors, reprint.

Turn in your essay and put your initials on the roster next to your name.

Time to work on your Illuminated Manuscript project or study for the SS Lesson 9 Test on Thursday.

When you are done, keep your video notes until Thursday's test & start a Vacation Reading Assignment (VRA) session by entering the page number, date, and time on your log. Get it signed off by Ms. EL when you finish.

Homework:

  • Complete another VRA session and get it signed off by a parent or guardian.  Remember the AR deadline is tomorrow.  If you haven't taken your last test, plan to do so tomorrow.
  • Study for the SS Lesson 9 Test on Thursday.
  • Complete your Illuminated Manuscript project.  Read over the rubric and score yourself on it when you finish.  Bring both to class tomorrow.

Review Learning Targets/Exit Ticket: Reflecting on the Planning Process (5 minutes) 4. Homework A. Revise your Pygmalion Essay Planner (both body paragraphs) and consider if you want to add another identity trait. B.  Finish planning your intro, conclusion, and counterclaim in the Unit 2, Lesson 14 Packet. Have missing tests/assignments? Still need to meet your Q3 AR goal? This post is for YOU!

I was imagining that the district would reset the dates for AR, the end of third quarter, and the grading deadlines, so that we could deal with AR tests, absent work & make-up tests in person once we were back in school. It appears that I was wrong. (*gasp*) At this time, it appears that all district deadlines will stay the same.  That means that Q3 ends on Tuesday, March 24, and Q4 begins on Wednesday, March 25.  It also means I need to finalize grades as soon as possible.  To that end, I will not be adding any new test or assignment columns. (There were just too many absences during the last week we were together to do it any other way.)  If you have work that has a zero at this point, you should keep reading.
