Pass up SS Workbook with your NAME on it

Take out Unit 2, Lesson 4--Give feedback (steps and stars) on the Constructed Response for Excerpt 3

1.    Opening
A.   Unit 2: Lesson 8--Debriefing Excerpt 4 Third Read Questions (5 minutes)

2.    Work Time
A.   Completing Excerpt 4 Analysis Note-catcher (25 minutes)

3.    Closing and Assessment
A.   Mini Lesson: Writing Complete Sentences (15 minutes)
B.  SS Quiz Game or Quizlet (if we have time)
C.   SS Assessment--Read your AR book when you are done

4.    Homework
A.   Complete Excerpt 4 Constructed Response in your Unit 2, Lesson 8 Packet.  Pay attention to the steps and stars you received today on your Excerpt 3 Constructed Response.
B.  Finish any incomplete parts in your Unit 2, Lesson 8 Packet
C.  Preview SS Lesson 12: Skim over pp. 160-179 and look at the pictures, read the captions, and read the titles and subtitles.

Review Learning Targets/Exit Ticket: Reflecting on the Planning Process (5 minutes) 4. Homework A. Revise your Pygmalion Essay Planner (both body paragraphs) and consider if you want to add another identity trait. B.  Finish planning your intro, conclusion, and counterclaim in the Unit 2, Lesson 14 Packet. C.  Work on the Illuminated Manuscript Project.  Write or type the first page today with information from Lesson 9, Section 2.  Decorate the first letter of the first word of your text.
