Hi! I'm so glad you're here.  Pretend this is me greeting you on the porch with a handout!

We will be using this class blog to coordinate all of our coursework.

1. Check this blog daily to see what you need to do.
2. Use Google Classroom to complete the Classwork that is assigned there and turn it in. (Make sure you hit the "turn in" button or "mark as done" for credit.)
3. Use TCI to complete much of your Social Studies work that is assigned here. (Remember to log in through Clever.)
4. Use the AJHS Library webpage to take your AR tests at home when you finish a book.
5. Use Synergy to check your grades regularly.

Important Notes:
--Each assignment on Google Classroom or TCI should be either "Turned In" or "Marked as Done" even if there is no attachment.  I know it seems weird to you, but for teachers, it moves it from the "students still working" folder to the "students are done" folder.

Here's our coursework for today:
  • Language Arts--
    • Go to Google Classroom and work on the Second Draft of your Children's Book--it's due Friday.
    • Go to Google Classroom and complete "Distance Learning Check In: Core"
  • Social Studies--
    • Due today: Go to Quizlet and study one of the Lesson 15 sets that you, your classmates, or your dear teacher posted.  The class join code is here if you aren't yet a member of our class.
    • Optional: We will attempt to play a Distance-Learning Kahoot (with prizes!) TODAY at 11 AM. No clue if it will work! Check/refresh the blog or Google Classroom a little before 11 AM tomorrow. The link to the Kahoot game is here.  If you'd like a bonus point on tomorrow's Lesson 15 Quiz, post your score in the comments on Google Classroom.
    • The Lesson 15 Quiz will be Friday.
  • AR--
    • Need a new book to read for Q4 without leaving the house? Check this out.
Bored? Need more to do? Check the blog for some videos (posted 3/23 & 3/24).
