     I can determine the meaning of words and phrases in an excerpt of Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass.
     I can identify and use the tools of a storyteller to make a story come alive.
*  I can identify sentence fragments and run-on sentences, and correct them so they are complete sentences.

  • Finish the "Complete Sentences Practice" worksheet. 
  • Organize your Core binder and review your Unit 2 work in preparation for tomorrow's Mid-Unit Assessment (Part 1).  For extra practice on the tested skills, consider watching all of the video below and practice identifying the skills she uses from the Storyteller's Toolbox and explaining why she uses each.  Refer to the Anchor Chart for help.
  • Review your Lesson 11 work and complete Workbook p. 92.  Add info to & study your flashcards/Quizlet set to prepare for Tuesday's test.
