TUESDAY 4/14
Remember: Use the daily blog as well as the Week At A Glance! Consider printing out the Week At A Glance and crossing work off as you do it & hit "Turn In" or "Mark as Done" on Google Classroom.
TCI: Lesson 16, Section 2
--Do this online. Go to TCI, then assignments. Select Lesson 16 Interactive Notebook.  Read & then complete Section 2.
When you are done, go to Google Classroom (SS) and "Mark as Done"
Go to Google Classroom (LA)--Watch the video “Using Screencastify to Record My Reading of My Children’s Book” and the Slides presentation on changing the sharing settings--take notes on both.
A look ahead:
--For Tuesday through Thursday, you will be recording a video of you reading your Children's book, adjusting the sharing settings, and turning it in on Google Classroom (LA) by attaching your video link to the assignment. 

Big Picture--LA: Learn how to install & use Screencastify. Use that platform to present your finished Children’s Book.
SS: Continue to study Ghana using TCI. When you finish, remember to Mark As Done on Google Classroom (SS) so I know to go grade that assignment.
AR: If you don't have a good book yet for Q4, see if you can find one digitally. Many books are available through the local libraries. Check out the "free eBooks" video post in the STREAM on Google Classroom for more info.

Review Learning Targets/Exit Ticket: Reflecting on the Planning Process (5 minutes) 4. Homework A. Revise your Pygmalion Essay Planner (both body paragraphs) and consider if you want to add another identity trait. B.  Finish planning your intro, conclusion, and counterclaim in the Unit 2, Lesson 14 Packet. C.  Work on the Illuminated Manuscript Project.  Write or type the first page today with information from Lesson 9, Section 2.  Decorate the first letter of the first word of your text.

Have missing tests/assignments? Still need to meet your Q3 AR goal? This post is for YOU!

I was imagining that the district would reset the dates for AR, the end of third quarter, and the grading deadlines, so that we could deal with AR tests, absent work & make-up tests in person once we were back in school. It appears that I was wrong. (*gasp*) At this time, it appears that all district deadlines will stay the same.  That means that Q3 ends on Tuesday, March 24, and Q4 begins on Wednesday, March 25.  It also means I need to finalize grades as soon as possible.  To that end, I will not be adding any new test or assignment columns. (There were just too many absences during the last week we were together to do it any other way.)  If you have work that has a zero at this point, you should keep reading. So, here's the plan: First of all, everyone should check over all of their grades for all of their classes.   Make sure you're looking at each assignment for each class.  Make a list of issues you need to address.  Write down: Course title, title of assignm
